Aside from that I have been concentrating on my weight loss journey, and I am proud to announce that I am now 43 lbs down from when I started! Here I am this past weekend (at almost 2 lbs heavier than I am now FYI).
The past few weeks I was out of town working. I was near Stuttgart and used the one weekend that I was there to do some sightseeing nearby. On Saturday I drove to Rottenburg, Horb, and then to Bärenschlößle. On Sunday I went to Ludwigsburg to see the residential palace and the gardens there (it was AMAZING!). Today I will share with you the town of Horb am Neckar, the rest will come in posts over the next few days (too many pictures). In Horb I was met with a BEAUTIFUL town. My first sight of it was this:
Then I FINALLY found a place to park my huge monster of a vehicle and started walking through the town... one of the first sights I saw was this restaurant:
Yes, a restaurant. Can't see those statues all that well? Do not fear! I got close ups!
Then a few feet down there was this statue. I have NO idea what this is...
I was able to gather up my shock and awe after that and get some pictures of the rest of the town. I was magnificent! So beautiful!!! Sit back and enjoy the beauty of Horb am Neckar, Germany...
In Horb am Neckar I did a little shopping and went to S. Oliver. The sales ladies there were super nice and asked me all kinds of questions. They offered me a full size Milka bar, which I politely declined due to my diet, so instead they gave me an Italian soda that had orange pulp in it. It was delicious by the way...
All of these shots are straight from the camera, I did not alter them at all (because I am being super lazy right now). The next post will be about my trip to the Bärenschlößle and the lake that I got lost walking around. Blisters and pictures (not of the blisters) abound!!!!
